Carmen
Michael
is an author and a journalist.
In
2007, she wrote Chasing Bohemia, a travel narrative about bohemian
life in the city of Rio de Janeiro.
Her
story is currently being adapted for film by director Stephen Hopkins
(Californication, 24 hours, Life and Death of Peter Sellers).
She
is a regular contributor to Marie Claire and her article "Murder
Incorporated" about Brazilian serial killer Wallace Souza
is currently being represented by William Morris Entertainment in
Los Angeles.
Her
writing has been published in Australia, the United Kingdom, South
Africa, Canada, Russia and Hungary.
Carmen's
work has appeared in The Australian, Toronto Star, Sydney Morning
Herald, Australian Financial Review, Sun-Herald, Lonely Planet and
Qantas’ Australian Way Magazine.
